You may consider yourself fortunate.
Today is the 1 year anniversary of the worst day of my life… that I can recall. On July 27, 2009 I had… 4 seizures resulting in… the privilege of turning blue instead of my usual stunning pale white, an unconscious ambulance ride, an overly priced ER bill, and a week of no talking since my tongue had been bitten so many times. I am happy to say that I have only had 1 seizure since that awful day. Now that countdown begins… Aug 18, 2010… so in 23 days, I’ll have been seizure free for ONE YEAR!! This is a huge accomplishment for me, since to my recollection, I have only been seizure free 1 other time in my life since being diagnosed with Epilepsy.
